BICYCLE SECURITY ^

If bike theft is a concern to you then my method can be used as a secondary backup system. The rear chain stays of most bicycles are threaded to fit standard rack bolts. If you buy an extra long one it can be finger threaded to engage the teeth of your rear sprocket. If a thief unlocks your bike and trys to ride off, the pedals will not rotate forward and they are most likely to fall off!! Their only option then is to carry the bicycle.
